Our Pastor has attended here since 1990 and also served on staff for 13 years with youth, children and the music. His wife Carol was born and raised in Archdale Church of the Nazarene. They both attended college at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville where they met and later married before moving to Archdale. They have 4 girls and now three son-in-loves and also 7 Grandkids.
Judy became a Christian during the time of the first Asbury revival of the 1970s. At the age of 19, on a university campus, itself in revival, she gave her heart and life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Understanding, very early in her walk with the Lord, that she was called into the ministry as a pastor and teacher, she completed Bible training in 1980. In 1983, she was formerly ordained into the ministry.
For several years she functioned as a children’s pastor first and then as a youth pastor. In the past 11 years she has established prayer teams in churches that did not previously have them. She, herself an intercessor, has had the development of prayer within the local body of believers deeply on her heart. The focus of these teams has always been centered on bringing revival into the church and community in the form of salvation, healing, deliverance and evangelism. Church growth has always been a by-product of the prayers of those teams.
She came to Family Church of the Nazarene, starting a prayer team there that has seen phenomenal growth. In January of 2023, she accepted the call of God to serve as the associate pastor of this church.
Jen has been married to her husband Earl for 26 years and enjoyed several ministry positions during that time. Earl and Jen have a son and daughter, Trevor and Grace, who are very accomplished athletes in the sport of TNT.
Jen has enjoyed working with and leading prison ministries, VBS, nursery, youth, women’s ministry, and Juvenile Detention Center Ministries over the last 25 years. Jen has a heart for young people to be loved, guided and protected.
