On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
WHO WE ARE
As the Father gathers us through the Holy Spirit-
We who are gathered become Family
The Family worships God through the foundations of confessional testimony, prayer, singing, studying the Bible, welcoming others.
As a Family we are on Mission to share the good news of Jesus with everyone.
We give them a place at the table as new Family
And like brothers teach each other to live like CHRIST
That Christ-likeness is our Family zeal and what unifies us
Our Family fellowship creates a Christ-like body
that God empowers for ministry to others
In this way our Family Glorifies God
Our Weekly Services
Our Schedule of Weekly Gatherings
We believe where you attend and worship God should also feel like family! And where you go to church should be a place you want to raise your family —this is that church. Children, teens and adults meet in groups focused on the interest of their age. We have a big focus on prayer, because God's people are empowered by prayer and this is how we communicate and talk to Him!
Life Groups: Your Sunday can start a great week with Discipleship Ministries “Life Groups” for all ages, from nursery through senior citizens.
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:30 AM
We gather for a morning of worship that includes singing, corporate prayer, and the study of Gods word. Teens and young adults are a big part of our music ministry and play instruments every Sunday morning. Children can go to children's church or, if they wish, stay and worship with their parents. And for those who are serving in our nursery during the service, we have a closed circuit TV that shows a live feed from the service, so that you won't miss anything.

Archdale Family Church
Archdale Church of the Nazarene was planted in the late 40s and was formally organized in 1949 at the same address as today. Our Church is a wonderful place to raise a family and for any person to attend and grow as a Christian. Our goal is to lead and train everyone to become Christ-like disciples who make Christ-like disciples.
We want everyone to feel as comfortable here as you would with your own family. Whether you are by yourself or you come with your family. Our Church is now affectionately called the “Family Church” and it is the perfect place to find a new family and place to belong. We have a great youth program, a wonderful children's ministry and meaningful adult ministry.
We literally are a church on mission.
Our Vision for The Family Church
In general, our mission together as followers of Jesus is To Make Christlike Disciples. This is worked out with a specific vision:
To minister to the neighborhood by being a conduit through which God pours out His blessings.
To be a place that talents and the calling of God are nurtured to places of service.
To be a sending place where those that have encountered God go out to encounter those who have not.
To be generous and plant and birth churches by all means possible.
To be a House of Prayer.
A beautiful picture for our church that we have drawn from nature is that of the Banyan tree. Banyan's develop from tiny seeds that fall into the cracks of branches, trunks and roots of other trees. Once the seeds germinate, they send roots straight to the ground from the host branch. This provides support to the branch and allows it to keep growing farther out from the trunk. What started out as a tiny seed eventually spreads until one tree becomes a forest of connected roots and branches. In the same way, Jesus spoke of the kingdom of God as a seemingly insignificant seed that grows to become something of great substance and the church as one body with many parts that are all connected in order to transport his presence to a hurting world. Only as we stay connected as the body of Christ and work together as a united force can God's mission be accomplished in the world.
Just as fire exists for burning, so the church exists for mission!
Church of the Nazarene
Archdale Family Church belongs to an international network and fellowship of churches known as the Church of the Nazarene. This enables us to support a global mission that is sharing the good news of Jesus through compassionate ministries, schools, hospitals and churches with missionaries in over 170 countries.
The Church of the Nazarene provides us with moral, spiritual and financial accountability. Founded in 1908 to spread the message of Scriptural holiness (Christ-like living) across the lands, the Church of the Nazarene identifies with the humble roots of Jesus who came from the small and insignificant town of Nazareth in Israel. The Church of the Nazarene describes itself historically and theologically as a Christian, Protestant and Evangelical church that has been shaped by the practical theology of John Wesley in the 1700’s and the Holiness movement that swept our nation in the early 1900’s. All of these influences shape our beliefs today and we share much in common with our Christian brothers and sisters from other churches and denominations. Agreed Statement of Belief
These are the beliefs Nazarene's hold to be true:
We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
